What information do I need before I order a part?

You’ll need the part number of the part you wish to order. Sometimes you can find that part number by reading it off the original part. If you can’t find the part number on the part, the second best choice is to look in your User’s Manual – sometimes it lists the part number for each part of the equipment you have. Once you know your part number, just pop it into the search field at the top of the site!

Don’t have the part number? Don’t fret. Another way to search for a part number is by knowing the model number of the equipment and the make and model number of the engine along with any spec number that appears on the engine (if applicable). Just search your model number in the search field at the top of the site. When you find the correct part number, enter it into the part number field on the screen where again you will see information about the part and have the option to order the part.

Finally, you can search by brand to find your model number in a user-friendly manner with the brand search button at the top of the site.

Where do I find this information?

The best place to find the part number (or model number) for your equipment is in the equipment’s owner manual. If the manual is not available, the next best step is to look on the equipment itself to find this information. The part number or model number may be located in different places on the equipment depending on the type of equipment you have. Generally, part or model identification tags are located in areas unlikely to need replacement, even after years of use. Here are some tips on where to look:

For handheld equipment, the tag is usually white and approximately 1″ x 1/2″ in size. Handheld ID tags are normally located on an aluminum portion of the engine, somewhat set into the unit to protect the label from wear. (A bar code will also be on this tag.)

For most power equipment, these tags are approximately 2″ x 3″ in size.

Here are the common tag locations for popular equipment:

  • Riding mower tags are located on the underside of the seat.
  • Walk-behind mowers tags are found either on the deck or on the rear door of the rear discharge unit.
  • Tiller model number tags are generally on the tine housing.
  • Single-stage snow thrower tags are next to the key and primer.
  • Two-stage snow throwers model number tags are located on the bottom of the main gear housing (or “belly pan”).
  • Log splitters, chipper shredders, and edgers model tags can be found on the frame or main housing.

  • Telephone: You can place a parts order on the phone between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:30PM Central time, or on Saturday between 8:00AM and 2:00PM. Call us at 1-800-816-5849 where one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.

How do I pay for the part(s)?

You can pay for the part(s) two ways:

  • Online: This is your most convenient option. If you choose to order online, simply enter all of your payment information through our secure payment system. You can order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Telephone: If you wish to pay by telephone, call us toll-free: 1-800-816-5849 Ftel(Monday through Friday between 8:00AM and 4:30PM Central time, or on Saturday between 8:00AM and 2:00PM). Have your credit card and order information ready. Our Customer Service Center will be glad to place your order for you.

Do I have to pay sales tax on my order?

Sales tax is added to orders shipped within Missouri. Tax rates within Missouri vary depending on the destination.

What credit cards can I use?

We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged once your order is safely on the road.

How long does it take to process my order?

After you place your order, we will process it and ship it from our warehouse within 72 hours (often sooner) for in-stock items, and 10 to 30 days for special order items.

What are the terms and conditions of ordering (or what is the fine print)?

No fine print! Mower Parts USA accepts full responsibility for the shipping and processing of your order. We make every effort to ensure your order arrives safely and accurately. How do I cancel my order?

Regardless if you purchased your part(s) online or via the phone, please call us toll-free at 1-800-816-5849 or drop us a line at Support@MowerPartsUSA.com (Monday through Friday between 8:00AM and 4:30PM Central time, or on Saturday between 8:00AM and 2:00PM.) and we will process your cancellation. Please have your original order confirmation number available. We will process your cancellation and provide a UPS call tag via mail to be used for returning your parts to our facility (See “What is the Return Policy?”)

Shipping

What is the cost to ship my order?

The cost to ship part orders depends on the total cost of your order:

Shipping Charges apply to the United States only.

In some rare cases, shipping charges will be higher based on the item’s size, for example: mower decks, baggers, etc. These orders will apply shipping charges at the time of shipment.

How are my purchases packaged?

The package in which your part arrives varies by the type of part it is. Most are shipped in plain cardboard boxes. Some part orders arrive in specially designed bags or boxes to ensure their safe arrival. In the event that UPS ground cannot guarantee the safe transportation of your order, we will contact you to arrange other transportation methods.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use UPS (United Parcel Service).

How do I track my order?

The day your order is shipped, we will email the tracking number to you so you’ll know your order is on its way.

You can also view your tracking info from the “Your Account” page under “Orders.” Click on “Track” to view the status of your shipment.

How long does it take to ship my order?

The total time a parts takes to get to your location from the time you ordered it depends on two factors:

  • The time it takes to process your order including the time to source your part if specially ordered.
  • The time it takes the part to get from our warehouse to your door. All orders are shipped via ground transportation. Depending on your location, you will receive your order in 4 to 9 days from the time we ship from our warehouse.

We do not offer Next Day or Second Day shipping on our items.

Can I get faster shipping?

No. Not at this time.

Please note: to receive the shortest shipping time available, please place your order by 12:00 Noon, Eastern time so your order can be processed the day it is received. Otherwise, your order will be processed the next business day.

Do you ship to Puerto Rico?

Not from this website, but we’d be happy to make arrangements on phone orders. Higher shipping costs will apply in most cases.

Do you ship to US Military APO/FPO boxes?

Not from this website, but we can make arrangements on phone orders. Higher shipping costs will apply in most cases.

Do you ship international orders?

Returns

What is your return policy?

If the part(s) you order arrives at your home and it doesn’t fit or fails to work properly, you may return all parts from the order and receive full credit back to your original credit card provided the parts are in re-saleable condition. Electrical parts are not returnable. You will need to pay the return postage.

This return policy applies regardless of whether you bought the part(s) through www.MowerPartsUSA.com or on the phone from one of our customer service center representatives.

How many days do I have to return the parts?

You can return an order within 30 days of purchase for a refund.

All damage and shortage claims should be made within 30 days of delivery. If the parts or package is damaged upon arrival, you have the right to refuse the order. If your shipment arrives and it is not complete, please contact our toll-free customer service center number at 1-800-816-5849 to replace the order.

If you are eligible to receive a refund, credit will be given within 48 hours of receipt of the parts at our warehouse from which the part was shipped (if it is in acceptable condition). Credit will appear on the original credit card within 1-2 billing cycles.

Where do I return the parts?

What if my order arrives damaged or is incorrect?

In the event that your order arrives damaged or incorrect (first off, sorry about that!), we will immediately ship a replacement to you. If you placed your parts order online or via the phone, please contact our customer service center at 1-800-816-5849. All damage claims should be made within 30 days of delivery to your home or office.

What if my order arrives and is missing some of the parts I ordered?
